Lilly Pulitzer Fall 2014 Preview

Happy Friday! I am so excited to celebrate the beginning of the weekend with big Lilly news!  We have official previews of the company's first looks for their fall collection.  The Fall 2014 collection is all about extending summer, and not saying the "f-word".  I think this is such a cute concept, and fits with the brand's image.  However, for a New England girl, it is slightly disappointing.  The weather changes too quickly and is too cold to be wearing silk tank dresses.  At least this will keep me from spending money!  I'll just spend time drooling over how cute all the Southern Lilly ladies look while I am bundled up.

The prints are colorful and beachy, what else would you expect from Lilly Pulitzer?  Everything screams resort, so clearly the company delivered its promise.

Agendas are Here!

The wait is over (well, almost).  Lilly Pulitzer has finally released her 2014-2015 agendas online and are available for pre-order with a ship date of June 23rd.  You can check out my previous blogpost here with all of the prints and order the agendas from here.
I highly recommend pre-ordering because these will sell-out extremely fast and only a few prints will be restocked.  Re-stock last year didn't ship until late October/November, so grab them now so you don't miss out!

To me, the color pink screams warm weather and happiness.  Throw it together with an A-Line, flowy skirt and its perfection.  The tea-length, a-line skirts started trending in the fall and I believe will continue popping up in the spring and summer.  I'm keeping with the full skirt trend with this one from Lilly Pulitzer.  I picked it up last summer during their Endless Summer Sale.

Great news Lilly-lovers.  Lilly Pulitzer agendas for the upcoming year are now available for preorder at Barnes and Noble!  I know I am beyond excited, and am already having a difficult time deciding which print to purchase.  I thought about switching it up to the Jumbo size, but will most likely stick to the Large size, because it is easy to tote around, especially to meetings.  So, here they are:

My favorites: Lilly Lovers, Hot Spot and Trippin and Sippin.

These are all of the prints available in the "large" size.  However, there are other prints in different sizes at Barnes and Noble.  As of this moment, I am unsure of when the Lilly website will post/pre-order the agendas, or if all sizes will be available in all prints.  So for now, don't freak out if one of the prints you want isn't available in the size you want.  But if you already know, go ahead and pre-order your agenda, they will come in as soon as June 3rd!  As an added bonus, they are a few dollars cheaper through B&N.

Beat Winter Woes

If you are reading this from the East Coast you are probably sick of snow and cold weather.  I personally think its getting a little old.  Snow is beautiful for about 5 minutes, then once cars and plows start driving, the snow is brown and it's just ugly to look at.

So let's start to embrace the spring!  My favorite way to do this is via Lilly Pulitzer.  The warm weather clothing staple has its spring and resort line out and its webpage is bright and cheerful.  I love flipping through the bold printed shifts, long and flowing maxi dresses, and adorable shorts.  Lilly also just put out the first four prints of new iPhone cases.  I am a sucker for these, and will most likely be picking one up.

The patterns are pink and green heavy, in classic Lilly Pulitzer style.
